St Mary’s Church, Uggeshall

St. Mary’s is a small ancient church of flint construction with a thatched roof.

To celebrate the millennium in 2000 the local community sponsored a new stained glass window of its patron saint, and this is worthy of a visit.

The church exudes a quiet calm and beauty that aids contemplation and reflection.

Weekly events and services

We offer a wide range of services from informal and child friendly with a wide selection of contemporary music with piano and band to more formal Eucharist and Book of Common prayer services.

Special services are undertaken throughout the year when we celebrate major festivals.

Eucharist = Holy Communion.

BCP means that we use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
